He's Back! The Return of The Amateur Gourmet
Well hello there.
Remember me? It's been a very long time.
I'm excited to tell you that I've re-launched The Amateur Gourmet, tearing down the old design and taking it back to its roots. The blog is, once again, just a place where I can share the food stuff that's going on in my life (for more about the re-launch, click here).
And there's always lots of food stuff going on in my life! Here's some of the food stuff I've been up to lately:
* I made Pappa alla Pomodoro soup, which is basically just tomato sauce with bread in it (and oh so delicious).
* I hosted a birthday dinner for my friend Ryan and cooked an epic feast of Caesar Salad, Spaghetti and Meatballs (pictured above), and Flourless Chocolate Cake.
* I made a lime-leaf infused lime daiquiri but couldn't open the cocktail shaker when I was done.
* And I just got back from New York where I ate at just a few restaurants: Pearl Oyster Bar, Mimi, Flora Bar, Daniel, Bar Bolonat, Union Square Cafe, Cafe Altro Paradiso, Hearth, and King.
Hope you'll click a few of those links and join back in the fun. It's good to see you again, you're looking great.
Your friend,
Adam (The Amateur Gourmet)
