It’s Friday! Sorry for the lack of a Thursday dispatch: I was busy doing a lovely thing called getting a colonoscopy. More on that in a bit.

Let me rewind the tape for a moment to last weekend, when we hosted our pals Mark, Diana, and their kiddos for brunch. This was also while we were hosting Craig’s parents and his aunt and uncle came by too, so it was a big affair.

There were bagels galore, but the centerpiece was this blueberry streusel sour cream coffee cake by an upstart named Martha Stewart. Let’s go to the tape:
