I’ve gone a little TikTok crazy this week! A lot of us food writers have. Nothing more awkward than a bunch of forty-somethings trying to emulate Gen Z, but this is where the future lies and if we want to sell books and get jobs, we’ve got to have a presence there. And frankly? I think it’s fun. I consider it a break in the middle of the writing day: to head into the kitchen, cook something, and make a little video of it. Like I did with the cabbage salad you see above:
