It’s hot here in LA! It’s funny because it’s also hot in NY, yet the two kinds of heat are very different. NY heat is swampy; my clothes were sticking to me after thirty minutes of walking outside. LA heat is dry; it feels like you’re on Mars and you’ll be covered in blisters if you don’t put on a hat or sunscreen or a spacesuit. NY, for me, has the advantage because eventually that moist heat turns into rain and everything cools off. In LA, the sun is relentless….
