Hey everyone,
It felt kind of glib to write a food newsletter in the wake of the election, but as my fellow food newsletter writers sent theirs out, I actually found them comforting. It was a reminder that life still goes on.
Yesterday I posted this cacio e pepe recipe on Instagram and instead of people being like “how nice of you to share your favorite comfort food recipe in such stressful times” they were like “ewwww, you call that cacio e pepe? That’s pepper butter water!”
