Hey everyone,

We spent Labor Day weekend up in Irvington with our old pals Mark and Diana and their three kids Phoebe, Teddy, and Gabe. Winston came along for the journey too and it was a grand old time, with lots of lightning bugs, water balloons, and, most importantly, ice cream.

What Craig and I learned on this two night, three day sabbatical was that three kids are a lot of work, even when they’re delightful! Which makes it all the more astonishing that Mark and Diana not only did their due diligence as parents, but they also treated us like royal guests and made us not one but TWO lovely dinners, including the beautiful corn salad that you see above. I just texted Diana for the recipe and here’s what she texted back….
