How to Get Into the Best Restaurant in NY Without A Reservation

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been eating out a lot lately. The reason, I suppose, is that we were home so much during the winter, and now that the weather is lovely, it’s hard not to be out amongst the people. Plus there are so many places that I want to try or revisit; and cranking up the heat in my kitchen isn’t as appealing as loading up Resy on my phone.

The other night, my friend Josh and I took a big swing. We had tickets to see The Hours: The Opera at The Met in Lincoln Center, which is also home to the #1 restaurant in New York according to The New York Times: Tatiana.

That’s Josh standing in front of the opera, but he’s also standing outside Tatiana, which is directly across the way.
