Celeste for amazing wine and seafood (message them on Instagram for reservations). Cocina al fondo for inventive Puerto Rican food in a lovely garden. Bacoa has great food but is a bit of a trek and better with a larger group. Casita Miramar for classic Puerto Rican

Another San Juan rec -- go to Berlingeri for delicious vegan food that will make you feel very healthy, and then when you're done go to Kasalta (the super famous bakery right in front of it) for pastelitos de guayaba con queso. Also, Cafe con C is a very cute third wave coffee shop nearby!

Eat here: Deaverdura: Calle Sol #200 Esquina De La Cruz, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Also-eat ALL the fried things whenever you can! Especially the bacalaitos (codfish fritters) and alcapurrias with crab filling. Pinones is a good place to do this. Great beaches, too! I also highly recommend hitting the Guavate Trail and going to a good lechon stand for amazing roast pork with crispy skin. If they have blood sausage get that, too. Lastly, amazing cocktails and fun atmosphere here: La Factoria (one of the world's top 50 bars): https://www.lafactoriapr.com/

Enjoy-PR is amazing!

Dishoom is a mandatory stop every single time I land in London. It’s often my first meal in town. And their keema pau is the first thing I order. Try it with super soft mini rolls instead of paratha--the way they serve it at the restaurant--and you really will feel like you’re eating an Indian sloppy joe. It’s amazing!

Puerto Rico! Please consider being a "puppy pal escort" and flying a tiny puppy back with you from PR. There are 500,000 stray dogs on that island alone! The rescue takes care of everything, booking the puppy onto your ticket, meeting you at the airport with said cute tiny puppy in bag and a volunteer/foster meets you as soon as you land in LA. Super rewarding and you're helping to save a life. If interested, I can put you in touch with two Sato rescues I foster with, Souls of Satos and Safe and Sound Satos (both have big instagram presences). They would be thrilled if you or anyone else in the party could help! Thank you for considering!
